	John P. Daane President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of the Board Mr. Daane has served as our president and chief executive officer since November 2000 and was named chairman of the board in May 2003. He has served as one of our directors since December 2000. Prior to joining us, Mr. Daane spent 15 years at LSI Logic Corporation, a semiconductor manufacturer, most recently as executive vice president, communications products group. In this role, he was responsible for ASIC technology development and the computer, consumer, and communications divisions.
	Scott Bibaud Senior Vice President and General Manager, Communications Division Mr. Bibaud joined us in June 2012 as senior vice president and general manager of the Communications and Broadcast Division. An 18-year veteran of the communications industry, Mr. Bibaud served most recently with Broadcom as executive vice president and general manager for the Mobile Platforms Group. He also led the teams responsible for the Bluetooth^® line of business at Broadcom. Additionally, he has held leadership positions at Conexant and in management consulting.
	Danny Biran Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Marketing Mr. Biran joined us in January 2005 as vice president, product and corporate marketing and became senior vice president, product and corporate marketing in May 2007. He became senior vice president, marketing in March 2009. Prior to joining us, Mr. Biran was president and CEO of Silverback Systems from 2001 to 2005. Mr. Biran has 25 years of semiconductor experience, including positions at LSI Logic and National Semiconductor.
	William Y. Hata Senior Vice President, Worldwide Operations and Engineering Mr. Hata joined us in December 1999 as vice president of product engineering. In October of 2000, he added the responsibilities of test development and process technology development. In March of 2007, Mr. Hata was promoted to vice president, worldwide operations and engineering, and added the responsibility for operations, packaging, and QA. Prior to joining Altera, he was a director of foundry operations and product engineering at National Semiconductor. Mr. Hata has more than 25 years of industry experience, including management positions at LSI Logic and SGS Thomson.
	Bradley Howe Senior Vice President, Research and Development Mr. Howe joined us in 2002 as vice president of IC design. In April 2012, Mr. Howe was appointed to senior vice president of research and development, responsible for all Altera’s silicon products, intellectual property libraries, and software products, and overseeing the global research and development organization. Prior to joining Altera, he held a number of executive positions at C-Cube Microsystems, Clearwater Networks, and SandCraft. He has over 28 years of engineering experience, including positions at Bytex, Prime Computer, and Olivetti Research.
	Kevin H. Lyman Senior Vice President, Human Resources Mr. Lyman joined us in January 2008 as vice president of human resources, responsible for Altera's global talent management strategy and programs. Prior to joining us, he was employed at Advanced Micro Devices, where he most recently served as senior vice president of corporate human resources. Mr. Lyman has over 25 years of experience linking strategy, people, and business results, and has also held human resources management roles at Lockheed, GenRad, and General DataComm Industries.
	Ronald J. Pasek Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer Mr. Pasek joined us in December 2009 as senior vice president, finance and chief financial officer. Mr. Pasek was previously employed by Sun Microsystems, where he most recently served as vice president and corporate treasurer. In his 19 years at Sun, he also held a variety of other positions in finance, including vice president of worldwide field finance, worldwide manufacturing, and U.S. field finance.
	Mark Nelson Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales Mr. Nelson currently serves as Altera’s senior vice president, worldwide sales. He joined us in March 2004 as vice president of worldwide channel sales, and throughout his eight years with the company has held several key management roles, most recently as vice president of sales, Europe. Prior to joining Altera, Mr. Nelson held sales and marketing management positions with LSI Logic.
	Katherine E. Schuelke Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary Ms. Schuelke joined us in March 1996 as corporate attorney. She became senior corporate attorney in July 1997 and assistant general counsel and assistant secretary in July 1999. In October 2001, she was appointed vice president, general counsel, and secretary. Prior to joining us, Ms. Schuelke was an attorney at the law firm of Morrison & Foerster, LLP for seven years.
	Jeff Waters Senior Vice President and General Manager, Military, Industrial and Computing Division Mr. Waters joined us in January 2012 as senior vice president and general manager of the Military, Industrial and Computing Division. Prior to joining us, Mr. Waters was most recently with Texas Instruments / National Semiconductor as product line vice president, Precision Signal Path Division. He was with National for 18 years in positions including vice president of sales and marketing for Japan, and vice president of worldwide marketing, as well as a variety of marketing and engineering management roles in analog and microprocessors. In addition to his time at National, Mr. Waters held positions in management consulting as well as in research and development.
	Scott Wylie Vice President, Investor Relations Mr. Wylie joined us in March 2000 as vice president of investor relations. Previously, he was director of corporate communications at Raychem where he was responsible for investor relations, government, and community relations, as well as the company's communications activities.
